(Senior) Consultant - Functional

Experience Level: Consultant (0–2 years) / Senior Consultant (3–5 years)

Your Role

As a Functional IT Consultant, you act as the bridge between our clients' business needs and the IT solutions we design and implement. You will work on projects that involve ERP systems, data platforms, or business intelligence tools, and support clients from the early stages of analysis to delivery and post-go-live support.

Your mission: understand business processes, translate them into system requirements, and help ensure the successful deployment and adoption of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand clients’ business processes and challenges.
• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements.
• Design functional specifications and support the translation to technical solutions.
• Configure ERP modules or BI tools based on project needs.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure alignment between business and technology.
• Participate in system testing, user training, and change management activities.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
• For senior consultants: lead functional workstreams and mentor junior consultants.

Environments You Might Work In

• ERP: Finance, supply chain, HR, CRM (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, etc.)
• Data & BI: Data governance, reporting, KPIs, dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Cross-functional topics: Integration, process optimization, digital transformation

Your Profile

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience in IT consulting, ERP, or data-related projects.
• Strong interest in how IT can improve business processes.
• Ability to quickly understand complex business domains and system interactions.
• Comfortable working with both functional and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (both are a plus).
• For senior profiles: experience leading client workshops and/or managing functional streams.
